Executive Vice President of China Association of Music visited Jurmala

 Yesterday, Latvia visited the executive vice president of China Association of Musical Xu Peydun. After meeting with the Minister of Culture of Latvia in Riga VIN Dalderisom Peydun visited Latvia to see how the city and the concert hall «Dzintari» prepared for the «New Wave». So I think it is important to familiarize himself with the preparation of the competition «new wave», - said the head of the musical associations of China. 

- What kind of impression you made Jūrmala and concert hall «Dzintari»? 

- I am familiar with the history of the hall, which operates 112 th season. I can see that the weather is wonderful. It is, of course, variable, but most importantly, there is a very pleasant atmosphere! And I had seen on those people that they are very spiritual, but this is an excellent ground for such an important event.

- At this year's show is scheduled concerts in the record, as not enough time for the live broadcast. But we have to discuss the issue, Igor steep broadcast in the future. 

- Do you plan and then work with VRS? 

- I spoke with Alexander Rumyantsev, CEO of the holding company, and I can say that there are ideas on how to cooperate, but understand the details - this is a secret. (Laughs). Representatives of the competition in Beijing to select both for adults and children «New Wave». And we are glad that our performers have proved worthy to enter the final. This is not just a joy or prestigious for us, it is very important. What is our main goal? To our musicians to work with Latvia and Russia and came to the West, at the world level. This is business, and diplomacy, as the music is better than any agreements on cooperation to strengthen relations between countries. By the way, we hope that the winners of «New Wave» subsequently participated in our music festivals. And with the Minister of Culture of Latvia, we have identified forms of collaborative work. 

- Chinese music is a style, in your opinion, could be the most successful export to your country? 

- China - a country with pyatitysyacheletney history, so our people have to say and sing. And wants to make people from different countries got acquainted with our musical heritage. First and foremost, I would have made a bid for the national music, because it is very original and exotic to foreigners.

- My work schedule does not allow to attend in Jurmala during the competition, but of course I wish her success and bring home the grand prize.
