Jurmala is always happy to meet guests!

For the ninth time the city is ready to take the participants, guests and visitors for the most modern music contest "New Wave".

 The Concert Hall Dzintari which runs the contest and concert events "New Wave" has been reconstructed. Jurmala’s beaches are decorated with blue flags - the international symbol of beach purity and swimming area. New comfortable hotel, offering the most modern services have been opened.

Jurmala - the second largest city of Latvia, stretching 30 km in sand dunes along the coastal strip. Traditional resort town  has 150-year history. Visitors have always been attracted by its mild climate, the scent of pine trees and salubrious air. City becomes better. And those guests who have not been in Jurmala for a long time will surprisingly discover how amazingly constructed and reconstructed buildings have blended in the general ensemble of the city, which according to the UNESCO is an architectural heritage.

The opening ceremony, competitive performances and a gala concert "New Wave-2010" will be traditionally held in the concert hall Dzintari, the main venue of the most important summer events. Almost all European and world stars of the past century have performed on its open stage area.>

Jurmala is proud that it has the honor of the opening of new stars. Of course, this would never have happened without the professional work of “ARS” holding with whom the Jurmala City Duma formed perennial good partnership.
