The prize-winner of the International contest of young performers of popular music “New Wave 2005” Brandon Stone (4-th prize) performed with one of the most famous vocalists of Europe of the 90-ies Ray Horton the other day. The concert was dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the “greenest” Latvian project “Footprints” which took place in Riga at the end of September. “Footprints” international project (www.footprints.lv) is aimed at the active support of the preservation of the environment. Brandon has a lot of positive impressions connected with the “Footprints” project. For instance, it’s the first time in his life he has taken part in a litter pick (April, 29) as part of a project in Riga and was pleasantly surprised at the warm atmosphere of the event. The prize-winner of the “New Wave 2005” supported the project participating in it not only its events in spring but also, having become a good friend of the project, came to the anniversary with great pleasure. The audience gave a warm welcome to Brandon Stone and Ray Horton, sang and danced together with the artists to dynamic rhythms! (refer to www.topconcert.lv for the photos and video of the concert).
Brandon is grateful to his fans for the support – Brandon Stone has been at the top of the list in hit parades of Latvia (radio SWH+) and Estonia (“Russian Radio”) for several weeks. Shortly the young artist is to perform at a concert dedicated to the birthday of the most popular Russian speaker of the "SWH+" Latvian radio, who is turning 12. Russian stars – Leonid Agutin, Vladimir Presnyakov and “Brothers Grimm” will also take part in the concert.
