A new clip for the song “Do svidanija, Yurmala!” (“Good bye, Yurmala!”) has appeared on TV channels. This pathetic, positive and very beautiful song was written by Igor Krutoy together with Igor Nikolaev. The director of the clip was a popular clipmaker from St.Petersburg whose name is Alexander Igudin. “The idea to make a memorable clip showing the unforgettable atmosphere of the contest appeared several years ago – the General director of the holding company ARS, the General director of the International contest of young singers of popular music “New Wave” Alexander Rumyantsev said. – At last in the year of the first anniversary of the contest this idea proved to be worthwhile and convincing to the maximum. We couldn’t help rejecting it especially when all the artists who were taking part in the shooting approved of the idea to capture the moments of the feast in Yurmala in the days of the “New Wave”. All of you know that it’s an ungrateful business to describe a clip. One should see with his own eyes the pleasure and inspiration each of the artists had bringing his individual charm and charisma to the video. You’ll see Alla Pugacheva, Igor Krutoy, Raymond Pauls, Valeriy Leontiev, Kristina Orbakaite, Oleg Gazmanov, Leonid Agutin, Angelica Varum, Lima Vaykule, “Diskoteka Avaria”, VIA “Slivki”, VIA GRA, Polina Gagarina and of course the contestants in this clip! Each shot of the clip isn’t a take done in artificial scenery at all, on the contrary - everything is real and unaffected here! The general tuning of the inspiration is transferred to the audience outside the screen from the first seconds of the video. The heroes of the clip are the sea, the sun, the blue sky, the sand of the Baltic beach and even the fresh pine air! We think that the work has been done successfully. We are happy to invite everyone to Yurmala for the “New Wave 2007!”.
