International Competition Of Young Singers of Popular Music the " New Wave" has become an important event in international music arena.Live concerts of the "New Wave" on central channels attracts millions of spectators , attention of the most famous journalists and media as well as fans, who become addicted to the event and support the competitors with all their hearts. Tbilisi celebrates victory of “Georgia” duet.

Celebrations of the victory of "Georgia" duet at the "New Wave" International contest of young pop singers were held in the capital of Georgia all night long.
Those were large-scale celebrations in Tbilisi - a big screen broadcasting the awarding ceremony had been installed on Revolyutsii roz square and after the ceremony, one could see the spectacular simultaneous display of fireworks in the capital of Georgia and in Jurmala. After Soso Pavliashvili had won the contest in Jurmala with his song "Samshoblo" 19 years ago, "Georgia" duet was the first to win a prestigious international song contest.
