International Competition Of Young Singers of Popular Music the " New Wave" has become an important event in international music arena.Live concerts of the "New Wave" on central channels attracts millions of spectators , attention of the most famous journalists and media as well as fans, who become addicted to the event and support the competitors with all their hearts. Two legendary composers Igor Krutoy and Raimonds Pauls discussed the idea of organizing a completely new competition unlike to other competitions which took place on the territory of Russia and the countries of CIS. Mr Pauls Raimonds Pauls supported the opinion of Mr Krutoy about the situation in modern popular music...

The Third Day of the Contest.

The third day of the Contest was opened by the concert of jury members in bossanova style. Such bright stars as A. Pugacheva, N. Baskov, M. Fadeyev, L. Vaikule, F. Bondarchyuk. V. Meldaze, Valeria, I. Nikolayev. I Krutoy, R. Pauls. I. Liepa and L. Agutin took part in the concert program.
The second part of the concert was dedicated to the last round of the Contest, where the contestants had to present their original song- specially composed for the " New Wave". The last day had a great importance as the jury was judging the Contestants for the last time, and the results of the day will conclude the " musical battle".
