According to the old tradition, the "New Wave" is not only music, but also sports competition. The football match between the teams of the contestants and the organizers of the event took place on Dzintari Beach today at 11.00 in the morning. The tribunes, which were specially constructed for the match were filled by the fans of both teams. There was even impossible to find a spare place!
Nevertheless it is quite hot in Jurmala now( approx +27) participants of the match were active keeping the good line of the game. In such kind of matches not professionalism, but motivation and good mood are the most important aspects. Thanks to well planned actions of the jury and organizers' team, leaded by the creative director of " Dzintari" concert hall, Lev Ostrovsky, the final score of the match was 3:1 ! The experience team of organizers has won! However the contestants had no time to get sad as they had to hurry up to the rehearsal for the last day of the Contest. It was repeated several times, that the "contestants had to keep the forces in order to do their best during the evening!"

Representatives of the Sports committee handled a cup and specially designed medals to the winner`s team. The gall keeper of the winner's team, Josef Prigozhin was given the medal and the football T-shirt for his wife, Valeria: the singer could not participate in the match due to the taught working schedule.

Do not forget, that the press-conference with Valeria and Robin Gibb, founder and ex-soloist of the band " Bee Gees" will take place in Jurmala SPA hotel today.
