The “New Wave” competition has its traditions and a night disco on a beach is one of the most pleasant ones for hundreds of thousand of people! A rock-disco was organized on a beach near the “Dzintari” concert hall on the night of 27/28 July. Sergey Galanin and a solo singer of “Vel’vet” group Katya Velvet conducted the disco.
It had been raining heavily the night before the concert, but the chilly night air did not prevent rock-group fans from coming to their idols’ concert. Thousands of people could sing together with their favourite musicians: “Zveri”, “More”, “Provoda”, “Jupiter”, “Nochnie snaipery”, “Ser’ga”, “BI-2”, “Vel’vet” and other groups performed both old hits and new compositions.
Group “Okean El’zy” was a special guest of the rock-disco organized as a part of the “New Wave 2007”.
