Natalia Gordienko is a first-year student of Academy of Music (pop-jazz vocal faculty) and comes from Kishinev. Besides National contests, she was the laureate of seven International
contests, such as "Sevastopol-Yalta 2004", "Delphian games 2004", "Two hearts of a twin 2004", "World songs 2005", "Our native land 2005", participant of the "Eurovision 2006" contest and
"Slavonic bazaar 2006" contest. She values honest, kind, well-bred, sincere people with a good sense of humor. She enjoys having a rest in the open air, going to the cinema, watching
historical films and doing sports. She would gladly act in a drama or a musical. Natalia would be interested to travel back to the 18-th century to go to exquisite balls, to dance in fluffy
dresses with corsets and rush to dates in a carriage...
The singer used to parody Anzhelika Varum in her childhood. Her grandmother was the first to see talent in small Nastya: the girl started singing at the age of three months. Little Natasha dreamed of becoming a model, but later her love for music prevailed. Natasha's family has a wonderful old tradition - to decorate the New Year tree all together!
She does not believe in signs, but she becomes thoughtful for a while at the sight of a black cat... A phone call from her boyfriend inspires Natasha to work. Gordienko cannot cook for the
time being. Once the artist lost a bet and had to play the melody of the song "Zhili u babusi dva veselikh gusya" ("A grandma had two cheerful geese") on the piano + with her feet! She
speaks Rumanian and English. When she was a child she found a money treasure and shared it with her friends in equal parts.
The artist's mascot is Madonna's icon consecrated in Jerusalem. The singer's favorite film is "The barber of Siberia". She made her first money at the age of 14, getting the third prize at
the academic competition in biology when she was in the 9-th form. Natasha did not like Physics. The girl's favorite style in clothes is feminine - she enjoys wearing elegant dresses, pinafore dresses and skirts. She would be happy to get a Dalmatian puppy as a birthday present. Her favorite expression is "A talented person is talented in everything". As Natasha likes milk, one can always find it in her refrigerator. Her secret dream is to become a laureate of the "New Wave". She wishes she could get L.Fabian's cell phone number, because she is a fan of this world famous singer. If Natasha's favorite performer Beyonce came to her one day, the artist would do her best to sing a duet with the celebrity.
If Natasha were a president, she would wipe all boarders between countries with her first decree. The artist has not made a debut album yet, but if it appears, its name will be connected with her beloved (departed) mother. Natalia Gordienko decided to take part in this contest because it's very prestigious: vocalists from many countries of the world participate in it, and what's more important is that contestants are estimated by the competent jury which consists of the best composers, famous singers and producers; the singer is sure that it's very important. Therefore it is great honor for her to perform at the contest in Jurmala, to try her hand in it, to gain experience and continue making progress in her work.
